Job summary
Restivo’s Heating & Air Conditioning in Johnston, RI is seeking an experienced Oil Service Technician to diagnose, service and repair oil-fired boilers, furnaces, and heating systems. You will perform tune-ups, install components, and test efficiency while upholding our commitment to quality and safety.
The ideal candidate has RI or MA licensing preferred, strong troubleshooting skills, and a pride in craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and repairing oil-fired heating systems.
- Familiarity with oil burners, pumps, nozzles, filters, and related components.
- Ability to perform combustion testing and ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair oil-fired boilers, furnaces, and heating systems
- Perform seasonal oil burner tune-ups and preventative maintenance
- Install and replace oil burners, pumps, nozzles, filters, and related components
- Conduct combustion testing and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide clear repair solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and repairs
- Represent Restivo’s with excellent customer service and communication
