Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC in Parachute, CO is seeking a Water Operations Technician to move and operate a mobile diesel pump on oil and gas sites, manage produced water, and log tank levels, volumes and valve seals. You will also perform routine pump maintenance.

Requirements include 3 years of oil and gas field operations, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, US work authorization, and the ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas field operations.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of oil and gas field operations.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions and overtime/on-call.
• US work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Move and operate a mobile diesel pump on oil & gas locations to manage produced water.
• Record tank levels, volumes, valve seals, and change filters.
• Perform general maintenance of pumps, valves, and fittings.
• Learn valve and piping alignments and complete pumping routes daily.
