Job summary

Kuiper Law Firm seeks a recent law graduate to join as a full-time, in-office attorney in the Denver Tech Center. The position focuses on oil and gas regulatory work, contracts, and related real property transactions, with mentorship provided.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., active Colorado or neighboring state bar, and interest in developing expertise in oil & gas law while contributing to client service and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active CO, WY, ND, OK or NM State Bar membership.
• 2-3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on oil and gas.
• Recent grads taking the CO, WY, ND, OK or NM bar exam in July, with requisite interest, will also be considered.
• Landman experience a plus
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a passion for natural resources and an understanding of the legal intricacies within the oil and gas sector, including regulatory compliance, contracts, title examination, real property transactions and more. Because this position is geared towards new graduates, Kuiper Law Firm will provide training and mentorship. This role is a full-time, in-office position located at our office in the Denver Tech Center.
