Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking QC Specialists to join the Quality Control team. You will witness inspections and testing, verify equipment calibration, and produce reports to support decision-making.

Acting as a customer representative at supplier sites, you will promote safe work practices and communicate results to project coordinators and stakeholders. The role is an independent contractor position, with 2-3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, for 6 months to 1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.)
• Familiar with industry codes and standards (API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1)

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per plans and standards
• Generate clear, accurate inspection reports
• Verify equipment calibration and technician certifications
• Promote safe work practices and communicate results to stakeholders
