Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking QC Specialists to join its quality control team. You will perform and witness inspections and testing to ensure compliance with codes and customer specs; verify equipment calibration and technician certifications; produce clear reports; act as customer representative at supplier sites.

As an independent contractor, you'll work 2-3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, for 6 months to 1 year, with safety guidelines and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical certification preferred (current).
• Experience with third-party inspection processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per plans and standards.
• Verify calibration and certification of equipment.
• Validate technician certifications are current.
• Generate clear inspection reports documenting results.
• Communicate progress and results to project coordinators and stakeholders.
• Promote safe work practices and HSSE objectives.
