Job summary

South Bow Corp. is seeking a Project Safety Specialist based in Calgary or Houston to support our project portfolio with health and safety expertise. You will translate regulations into practical guidance, advise project teams, and strengthen contractor safety programs to protect personnel and ensure regulatory compliance.

Travel to company locations in the U.S. and Canada will be required, and you will lead inspections and develop corrective actions to close gaps, while maintaining ICS

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in health and safety or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health, personal and process safety programs, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, COHSR, and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety management activities across project portfolios and ensure compliance with company safety systems.
• Advise project teams on safety requirements throughout all project phases.
• Evaluate contractor safety programs, plans and practices against regulatory and company requirements.
