Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Oil and Gas Process Engineer apprentice to join the ENCAR Energy Carriers team in Fano. You will participate in process design, simulations, and documentation for complex onshore/offshore projects, with exposure to design reviews and vendor documentation.

This apprenticeship emphasizes hands-on technical growth, with opportunities for international travel within EMEA and beyond, under supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• University projects or internship as Process Engineer.
• Willingness to travel within EMEA, Africa, Worldwide, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Design Criteria, Design Basis and operating philosophies.
• Conduct process simulations and Heat & Material Balances (H&B).
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs and sizing calculations.
• Size equipment and prepare process datasheets; instrument datasheets.
• Support HAZID/HAZOP studies and design reviews.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and licensors.
