Job summary

SLB is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to support maintenance, repair, and readiness of Product Line equipment. You will ensure accurate maintenance records and compliance with established standards while contributing to safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on work, safety ownership, and collaboration with teams to improve equipment performance and asset utilization in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent mechanical training.
• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair activities on assigned equipment.
• Record maintenance activities, material usage, and labor transactions in TLM systems.
• Follow Product Line maintenance standards and established work procedures.
• Support initiatives to improve equipment reliability and asset utilization.
• Assist with equipment turnaround and downtime reduction efforts.
• Participate in repair, refurbishment, and cost of service delivery projects.
• Contribute to failure investigations and corrective action activities.
