Job summary

SLB is seeking a Mechanical Technician in the United States to help ensure on-time delivery of equipment and improve maintenance efficiency for the Product Line assets within the Maintenance Base. The role emphasizes adherence to CMMS, standard work, and a commitment to continuous improvement across maintenance processes.

You will participate in improving asset turnaround time, reducing downtime, and supporting the efficiency and productivity of the Maintenance Technicians, while following TLM

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to maintain equipment according to maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
• Ability to use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and follow standard work.
• Experience with recording materials, labor costs, and maintenance history in TLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and CMMS standards.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within TLM systems to record materials, labor costs and maintenance history.
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement within the Maintenance Base to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
• Support efforts to reduce downtime and improve asset turnaround time, including parts and repair processes.
• Assist in improving efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
• Implement CoSD projects such as repair and reuse of parts.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.
