Job summary

Faulconer Energy, LLC. is seeking an experienced Land Technician in East Texas to support land records, lease administration, and mapping for oil & gas assets.

You will work with Landmen, Lease Analysts, and Division Order staff to ensure records are accurate and accessible throughout acquisitions and day-to-day activity. The role involves title research, GIS mapping, data management in PakEnergy/PakLand, and support across the land department with due diligence, compliance, and document

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Land Management, Paralegal Studies, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of diversified administrative experience; oil & gas land tech/landman assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of oil & gas lease terminology, AAPL forms, and title documents.
• Experience with PakEnergy, PakLand, ArcGIS; proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update land, lease, well, and unit databases in PakEnergy; assist with data entry and indexing.
• Manage both operated and non-operated AFE workflows, including digitizing, storing, and tracking AFE’s.
• Prepare and transmit proposal letters to partners on wells and assist with inquiries.
• Provide reporting/analysis to Landmen and management on AFE activity.
• Assist with title research at county courthouses and online systems.
• Abstract leases, deeds, releases, and title instruments; prepare title curative documents.
• Build and maintain leasehold, unit, and well-location maps using GIS; prepare land plats.
• Enter/update acquisition/divestment data in PakLand; support due diligence.
