Job summary

Permian Resources in Midland, TX is seeking a JIB Accountant reporting to the JIB Supervisor. You will handle non-operated JIBs, monthly billing entries, cost centers, AFEs, and JIB reconciliations in a fast-paced oil and gas environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, organization, and the ability to communicate clearly with operators and internal teams. 3+ years in oil & gas accounting is preferred; Quorum and EnergyLink experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of oil and gas operational accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process non-operated JIBs with accurate coding and JOAs/COPAS compliance.
• Prepare standard monthly JIB entries including overhead and transfers.
• Set up cost centers and AFEs and apply revenue netting to JIB-AR balances.
• Pull audit support and assist in answering working interest questions.
• Prepare monthly JIB reconciliations by due date and support special projects.
