Job summary

Expand Energy seeks a senior petroleum engineer to provide technical solutions for petrotechnical challenges in onshore U.S. operations.

The role emphasizes evaluating wells, planning field drilling, and optimizing recovery while coordinating equipment installation and field studies. The candidate should have a minimum of five years’ related experience, a Bachelor’s degree (ABET/EAC or PE-licensed), and may hold a Master’s degree in engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • ABET EAC accredited program or PE license.
  • Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate costs and estimate production capabilities and economic value of wells.
  • Develop drilling plans and production recovery strategies.
  • Direct well completion, testing, and surveys.
  • Analyze data to optimize well placement and production.
  • Monitor production rates and plan rework processes.
  • Interpret drilling and testing information.
  • Supervise well modification and stimulation programs.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve design issues.
  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, and operation of field equipment.
  • Perform economic analyses for assets and potential acquisitions.
  • Provide reservoir characterization data and probabilistic evaluations.
