Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation in Pasadena, TX is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to grow our presence in the oil and gas market. The role requires the ability to learn our product portfolio quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 2+ years in inbound support or sales or purchasing, a strong instrumentation background, and experience with MS Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in inbound support / sales or purchasing (preferred).
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or Electrical/Automation industries is a plus.
• Strong instrumentation background required.
• Technical background with knowledge of Schneider products desired.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and disciplined.
• Desire to learn and build personal skill-set.

Responsibilities

• Completing quotations
• Following up on sales leads
• Finding and developing new opportunities within existing accounts
• Identifying and pursuing potential customers and markets
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintaining records of activities using Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
• Assisting in marketing efforts
• Purchasing and negotiating pricing on equipment/supplies from vendors
• Supporting the sales team to procure equipment/supplies
