Job summary

Marathon Petroleum is seeking I&E Technicians in Elk City, OK to support safe, reliable operation of natural gas processing plants, pipelines and compressor stations. You will perform instrumentation and electrical work, installations, calibrations, and troubleshooting, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, be able to pass drug and background checks, and work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience or willingness to learn CMMS.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and distribution networks.
• Understanding of industrial control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC).
• Practical knowledge of industrial instrumentation fundamentals.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to use PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems.
