Chevron Shale & Tight Business seeks a Field Specialist A for the Hayhust NM Production Team in Carlsbad, NM. This role supports safe oil and gas operations, maintains equipment, and conducts tests and data recording across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of current related oil and gas experience or related petrochemical industries.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, night shifts, weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by following regulations and safe practices.
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain oil and gas production equipment.
• Perform duties related to oil and gas production: plunger lift, rod pumping, flowing wells, compressors; optimize artificial lift systems.
• Test wells and acquire fluid-level information.
• Record data, monitor computer control systems, and operate SCADA.
• Create work orders in CMMS for inventory and planning; ensure compliance with Chevron standards.
• Collaborate with teammates and contractors to maintain peak equipment efficiency.
• Demonstrate Chevron Way behavior and safety culture.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in petroleum or Process Technology or related technology
