Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure is seeking a Field Service Technician to service Solaris equipment at oil and gas sites across the United States. This role requires daily travel and serves as the customer’s primary in-field contact for maintenance, training, and reporting to ensure reliable operation of our equipment.

Based in Texas or other basins, you'll perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance, document service logs, and coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• Field Operations experience in oilfield, rigging systems and maintenance.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Ability to work under varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented culture and exercise independent judgement to support customers and the company.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with basic software.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Conflict resolution skills, adaptability to changes, and reporting capabilities.
• Able to provide detailed and complete reports efficiently.
• Electronic technician experience, 2 years preferred.
• Oilfield-related field service experience, 2 years preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair Solaris equipment and basic electronic control systems.
• Conduct onsite training for customers operating Solaris equipment and controls.
• Perform daily inspections and visit customers to ensure superior service.
• Respond quickly to service requests and troubleshoot as required.
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to stakeholders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule.
• Log all services and report progress via Solaris automated operational reporting system.
• Utilize and store all equipment safely and properly.
