Job summary

Killam Oil Co LTD seeks an Oilfield Equipment Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair lease wellhead systems and related equipment. You will record production data, monitor gauges, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components at on-site locations.

The role requires 2–5 years in oil/gas equipment maintenance, plus strong safety knowledge and ability to read maintenance manuals. Applicants must pass safety standards and operate under OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Must have at least two - five (2-5) years equipment maintenance and repair experience within an oil and gas production plant/facility.
• In depth knowledge of wellhead equipment and related systems.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Ability to read maintenance/operations manuals and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains wellhead equipment and records production data.
• Troubleshoots and repairs issues, tests electrical and gas systems.
• Repairs production equipment and replaces components as needed.
• Maintains required paperwork including gauge sheets and logs.
• Ensures safety procedures and lockout/tagout compliance.
