Koch Engineered Solutions here in Mentone, TX is seeking a Carpenter to join Optimized Process Designs’ field team. The role involves on-site carpentry duties at remote locations, working from blueprints, and ensuring work adheres to project specifications.

Expect outdoor labor in extreme heat and cold, travel to remote job sites, and a strong commitment to safety. This position supports oil and gas construction projects nationwide with team-oriented collaboration.

Qualifications

• Two years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the layout of the project.
• Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
• Work with blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Use hammers, pry-bars, chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair/erect structures.
• Work on ladders and scaffolding.
• Ensure work meets code and specifications.
• Set up levels, plumb bobs, framing squares, surveying equipment.
• Create structures for pouring concrete.
• Erect scaffolding.
• Observe safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
• Aim for high production with quality output.
