Job summary

An Oil and Gas services company in Shreveport, Louisiana, is looking for an Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing products, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safety in the workplace. A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with mechanical skills and proficiency with various tools. This position offers a starting pay of $18 per hour or more, with opportunities for overtime and comprehensive benefits under a W-2 Contract to Hire.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically adept and able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
• Experience working with assembly-related operations or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products; troubleshoot and resolve assembly and testing issues.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
• Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
