Job summary

Lufkin Ford in Texas is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform routine maintenance and fluid checks, including oil changes and transmission fluid checks, using basic automotive tools.

You will work in a fast-paced dealership environment, with opportunities to expand ASE certifications and Ford-specific training, while enjoying health insurance, paid holidays, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• ASE certifications and Ford-specific training are advantageous.
• Ability to identify problems quickly; strong automotive knowledge and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in maintaining vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
