Job summary

Freeport Ford, LLC is seeking a Ford Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and basic automotive services in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. You will support the Service Department by completing maintenance work accurately to keep vehicles moving through the shop.

Responsibilities include oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and documenting work on repair orders. A strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork, and learning the Ford procedures will help you

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
• Willingness to learn and develop automotive skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil and filter changes according to Ford specifications.
• Perform tire rotations, inspections, and basic tire services.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed.
• Inspect belts, hoses, brakes, tires, lights, and other basic components.
• Document work performed on each repair order.
• Follow Ford service procedures and dealership guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Communicate additional maintenance needs to the Service Advisor.
