Job summary

Design Solutions & Integration, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for field work in Carlsbad, NM. You will install VFDs and other 120/240V and 480V electrical equipment in Permian Basin oil fields, configure AC/DC controllers, and interpret schematics to bend and route conduit to code.

Outdoor work is expected in varied weather conditions. The role requires oil & gas experience, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Team oriented with strong safety/quality commitment
• EOE and drug-free workplace
• 3 years of oil & gas experience
• Experience wiring AC/DC controllers and VFDs

Responsibilities

• Install VFDs and other 120/240V and 480V equipment in the Permian Basin oil fields
• Configure and wire AC/DC controllers and VFDs
• Read electrical schematics and design, bend and fill conduit to code
• Work outdoors in field conditions
