Job summary

Freeland CDJR is seeking automotive technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles in a dynamic shop environment. You will test systems, isolate issues, and drive vehicles for testing to verify repairs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, repairing or replacing worn parts, and using power, machine and hand tools. A high school diploma or GED is required; technical degree and ASE certifications are preferred; at least 1 year of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive service or repair.
• Must be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure security and proper operation.
• Isolate systems or components causing problems.
• Drive vehicles for testing purposes to verify fixes.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns occur.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
