Job summary

Conklin Automotive Group in Kansas is seeking a Lube Technician to perform lubrication services, fluid replacements, and minor repairs on a variety of vehicles. You will work with hand and power tools, follow safety protocols, and deliver friendly, informative customer service while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, with ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic inspections.
• Comfort using hand and power tools in a shop environment.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic inspections.
• Assist with tire service, including rotations, replacements, and repairs.
• Carry out minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections and belts.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Support alignment procedures and basic diagnostics when needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; store tools properly.
• Explain services to customers and suggest maintenance as appropriate.
• Prior dealership or automotive service experience is preferred.
