Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Temple, Texas, seeks a Lab Technician to prepare, test and analyze oil samples for PCB analysis by Gas Chromatography, following QAP and SOPs.

You will track sample receipt, maintain standards in stock, keep the lab organized and order supplies and source standards as needed. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and Office apps is required. A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills including editing, formatting, document location, filing, using templates in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test and analyze oil samples for PCB analysis by Gas Chromatography.
• Ensure all samples are prepared and analyzed in accordance with Laboratory's QAP and SOPs.
• Ensure all samples reported meet Laboratory's QC requirements.
• Track sample receipt.
• Ensure all standards are in stock, prepped and not expired.
• Keep the lab and storage areas clean and organized.
• Order supplies, equipment and source standards required for PCB analysis.
