Description

We are seeking passionate Dental Assistants to join our School Based Dental Program in the Baltimore City School District. Our program offers preventative and comprehensive dental care to children aged 5 to 18 in a safe environment. Services include oral health education, exams, cleanings, fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact by promoting good oral health. We collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to deliver great smiles and bright futures!

Responsibilities
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment rooms.
  • Prepare patients, instruments, and materials.
  • Sterilize all equipment.
  • Take and process X-Rays using digital radiography equipment.
  • Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with X-Ray Certification.
  • Two years of chairside experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with portable/mobile equipment.
  • Familiarity with computers and dental software.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
  • Ability to work well with children.
  • Passionate, friendly, and caring personality.
  • Prior Pediatric Dentistry experience is a plus.

  • Work hours align with the school calendar.
