Ohio - Seeking General Surgeon

Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Surgeon/Trauma Surgeon. You will work in a very collegial multi-specialty group at a large regional referral center (424 beds) serving a ten-county area with a robust patient population of 480,000+. Our region offers small city, suburban, small town, and rural living options within easy access to metropolitan areas. Dayton, Toledo, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit are an easy 1-2-hour interstate highway drive.
Opportunity Highlights:
  1. Provide on-call coverage for Trauma Surgery, support to ICU, and perform general surgery.
  2. Maintain the standards set forth by the ACS.
  3. General, Robotic, and Laparoscopic Surgery
  4. Abide by the most current standards in providing acute surgical care and treatment of traumatically injured patients in alignment with the Mercy Health St. Rita's mission.
  5. ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
  6. Candidates should be BC/BE in the area(s) of General Surgery/Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care.
  7. Level II Trauma Center.
  8. Main OR has 12 suites and 4 Ambulatory OR suites.
  9. 4 DaVinci Robots available.
  10. Generous base salary, moving allowance, and overall excellent benefits package.
  11. 1:4 call currently.
  12. Join 4 established General Surgeons.
  13. Competitive compensation and benefit package - Initial salary guarantee, relocation, medical school loan assistance, CME is $10,000 yearly, Malpractice Insurance, 403b and 457f retirement plans.
