Ohio’s University Consortium for Child and Adult Services (OUCCAS) is the state training coordinator for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP). OUCCAS oversees the development of all OCWTP program activities and products, manages the OCWTP trainer and coaching pools, manages the website, and provides fiscal administration for the programs. OUCCAS is a team of professionals from three Ohio public universities and includes staff and faculty from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, and the University of Akron.
OUCCAS’ goal is to provide Ohio’s child and adult protective staff and resource families with innovative learning opportunities to acquire the knowledge and skills to ensure vulnerable children and adults' safety, permanency, and well-being. The Child Welfare Training Content Specialist at OUCCAS plays a crucial role in developing and implementing training materials for child protection professionals. The primary responsibilities will include:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
