Job summary

Amundsen Davis seeks a Litigation Associate to join its growing Cleveland office. The ideal candidate is licensed to practice law in Ohio and has at least five years of experience in civil litigation.

A background in defense litigation in commercial transportation is strongly preferred, with strong communication, analytical and writing skills and teamwork expected. You will represent clients in all aspects of litigation, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions and case evaluations.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• At least five years of civil litigation experience.
• Background in defense litigation in commercial transportation preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and writing skills; team oriented.
• Experience drafting pleadings, responses to discovery, depositions, and case evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of litigation.
• Draft pleadings and respond to written discovery.
• Conduct depositions and communicate with clients.
• Prepare case evaluations on liability, damages and recommended action.
