Job summary

LE002 Onterris Payroll, LLC is seeking an OGI Field Technician to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission and leak detection at oil and gas facilities. Compensation ranges from $55k-$65k/year plus overtime, commensurate with experience and location.

Responsibilities include coordinating to facilities using GPS, calibrating equipment, operating detection tech, recording data, and preparing field reports. Valid driver’s license and a degree or equivalent experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the oil and gas industry, preference for natural gas processing or transmission facilities.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Android OS.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related technical field, or equivalent work experience in hydrocarbon detection, LDAR, instrumentation, stack emission testing, or mechanical engineering (preferred but not required).

Compensation ranges from $55‑65k/year plus overtime, commensurate with experience and geographic location.

• Operate detection and measurement technologies under the supervision of the Team Lead.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Walk and/or stand while handling or carrying equipment for extended periods.
• Occasionally work at heights safely.
• Lift up to 50lb unassisted.
• Work outdoors in all-weather conditions.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to travel.
