Job summary

Blue Ocean Mariculture seeks a Facilities Assistant/Driver to support offshore production, load shipments, and maintain the yard and vehicles in Kona, Hawaii. The role requires operating forklifts and Gradall equipment, maintaining records, and assisting the Facilities Manager with upkeep and logistics.

The position involves four 10-hour days, with preference for candidates already living on Hawaii Island. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required, and authorized work in the

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
• Clean driving abstract and driving history.
• Able to pass drug screening and certifications for forklift/Gradall.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, repeatedly.
• Preference for Hawaii Island residents.

Responsibilities

• Support offshore daily operations and loading deliveries.
• Transport processing ice totes and other shipments.
• Load and unload feed and shipments as needed.
• Operate forklift and Gradall equipment safely.
• Assist Facilities Manager with maintenance tasks.
• Maintain vehicles and yard equipment.
• Keep Offshore yard clean and organized.
• Record receiving and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow schedules and procedures autonomously.
