Job summary

Oxy is seeking an experienced UAS Pilot and Operations Specialist to support inspection and asset integrity activities across offshore operations. The role will conduct unmanned aircraft inspections of offshore facilities, providing high-quality imagery and sensor data to engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have FAA Part 107 certification, strong flight planning, offshore travel readiness, and the ability to document conditions accurately for mechanical integrity and risk-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Demonstrated experience operating UAS in industrial, energy, infrastructure, construction, inspection or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of safe UAS flight planning, aircraft limitations, weather considerations and operational risk management.

Responsibilities

• Safely plan and execute UAS inspection missions on offshore facilities, with emphasis on mechanical integrity and asset integrity.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections of offshore infrastructure including piping, pressure equipment and vessels.
• Capture high-resolution imagery and sensor data to support assessments.
• Identify and document observable conditions such as corrosion, coatings degradation and leaks.
• Coordinate inspection activities with multiple engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain flight logs, aircraft records, and regulatory documentation.
