Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking experienced Offshore Structural Fitters for projects in Morgan City, LA and surrounding areas. Fitters will assemble and install metal structures for offshore jackets and decks, requiring blueprint literacy and attention to safety and quality.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of fitter experience, layout and fitting skills with structural steel, and the ability to read drawings. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with potential overtime and weekly pay.

Offshore Structural Fitters - $30/hr - Weekly Pay - Morgan City, LA

This company is seeking experienced Structural Fitters for projects in Morgan City, Louisiana and the surrounding area. Structural Fitters are responsible for assembling and installing metal components to create finished structural projects, often for offshore drilling jackets and decks. The ideal candidates will have several years of relevant experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Applicants should be able to work in challenging environments and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.

• $28.00–$30.00 per hour (DOE)

• Potential for overtime (10-12 hour days, weekends as needed)

What You’ll Need

• 3–5 years of fitter work-related experience
• Lay-out and fitting experience with miscellaneous metal & structural steel
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
• Excellent math and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs/ladders regularly
• Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather and varying hot/cold environments
• Must pass drug screen
• Driver’s License/Identification Card and Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
• Reliable transportation
• Own welding shield & PPE (hard hat, steel toes, gloves, safety glasses)
