Job summary

Acadian Contractors, Inc. in Houma, LA seeks Offshore Fitters to join our offshore construction team. You will lay out, cut, and fit piping, vessel, and structural components in challenging offshore environments, reading ISO drawings and blueprints.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of offshore construction experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work with helpers, riggers, and welders. High school diploma preferred and commitment to safety.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent offshore construction experience
• Preferably 2 years minimum experience in fitting (piping, vessel, and structural) fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret ISOs and blueprints
• Familiarity with offshore emergency response, escape procedures, and water survival skills
• Physical capability to ascend/descend stairwells, climb, and work from heights
• Commitment to safety and adherence to HSE policies
