Job summary

JDR Cable Systems Ltd. is seeking Service Technicians to support offshore and onshore projects globally. You will install, operate, and troubleshoot IWOCS equipment, interpret drawings, and ensure compliance with procedures while maintaining a professional presence with clients.

Candidates should be prepared for long deployments and varying workloads. The role requires offshore certifications, a valid passport, and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Technical competence in electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as customer contact.
• Positive, flexible; capable of working in demanding offshore environments.
• Passport, driving license, and offshore certifications (medical also) required.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and troubleshoot IWOCS equipment offshore during 28‑day deployments.
• Interpret and verify drawings and work instructions with procedures.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and notify deviations to clients and JDR.
• Assemble termination components, connectors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Contribute to paperwork timely for invoicing and assist training as needed.
