Job summary

iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) seeks an experienced Offshore Scaffolding Supervisor to join offshore projects in the USA. You will supervise scaffold crews, inspect and coordinate activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards in offshore oil & gas environments.

The role requires CISRS Advanced Scaffolder / Supervisor certification, at least 5 years of offshore scaffolding experience, and a proven track record in supervising offshore construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects.

Qualifications

• Mandatory CISRS Advanced Scaffolder / Supervisor certification
• Minimum 5 years of offshore scaffolding experience
• Proven experience supervising offshore crews on construction, maintenance and turnaround projects
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding inspection, safety standards, and load calculations
• Experience planning and coordinating offshore scaffolding activities

Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling offshore
• Lead and coordinate scaffold crews to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Verify compliance with scaffold designs, project specifications, and industry standards
• Conduct scaffold inspections and identify corrective actions when required
• Ensure proper use of scaffolding tools, equipment, and materials
• Plan daily activities and allocate resources to meet project schedules
• Complete and review reports, timesheets, and work documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and HSE requirements
• Lead emergency response activities related to scaffolding operations when required
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, supervisors, and offshore teams
• Monitor scaffold materials, inventory levels, and equipment condition onboard
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
