Job summary

Doyon Limited is seeking a skilled welder for upcoming projects in Alaska. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Tool Pusher, performing maintenance and repairs on various equipment including generators and machine parts.

This role requires a high school diploma and experience with Caterpillar 3500 series tools, as well as the ability to thrive in a challenging and remote industrial environment, with exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Caterpillar 3500 series engines and power generators.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Strong understanding of rig specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures as required.
• Document all work performed and maintain equipment inventories.
