Job summary

Oceaneering seeks a project engineer with broad expertise in mechanical, structural, electrical and ocean engineering to lead offshore umbilical design and manufacturing efforts. You will coordinate across internal teams and with external clients, testing facilities and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

The role requires strong communication of technical information in writing and speaking, and some travel to project sites and facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, structural, electrical and ocean engineering fields.
• Experience with offshore umbilical design and manufacturing projects.
• Ability to present technical information clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of offshore umbilical design and manufacturing projects.
• Engage cross-functionally with internal departments and external clients, testing facilities, vendors and others.
• Travel to project sites or facilities as required.
