Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking an Offshore Platform Operator to monitor and operate a Hydrocarbon processing facility and related utilities. You will troubleshoot equipment, run daily operations, and produce operational reports while adhering to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3-5 years of offshore experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel by helicopter to offshore facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy field preferred.
• 3-5 years of offshore Platform Operator experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in natural gas/gas liquids, gas processing, petrochemical or refining industries is required.
• Knowledge of operation and design of processing/fractionation plant systems is required.
• Must be safety-focused with strong mechanical aptitude and tool-handling skills.
• Able to read P&ID and PFD drawings; teamwork and problem-solving abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Hydrocarbon processing facility and support utility systems.
• Troubleshoot platform equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and complete operation reports for the facility.
• Follow Company Safety Manual, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
