Job summary

Woodside Energy is seeking an experienced Offshore Operations Engineer to support the FPSO/FSO readiness and lead start-up, with cross-functional collaboration across design, construction, commissioning, and hook-up to ensure smooth Trion field operations.

You will review operability in design, lead handover from commissioning, and drive safety, procedures, and digitalization efforts while maintaining uptime targets and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years offshore operations experience.
  • Offshore rotational work experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, chemical engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supporting offshore operations.
  • Strong knowledge of process control and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical reviews for the operations readiness team on the FPU, FSO, and SURF systems.
  • Lead start-up assurance including handover from commissioning and pre-startup safety reviews.
  • Collaborate to develop operating procedures and transfer enduring risks to operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and uptime goals for Trion project.
  • Work with completions to understand well completions and implement start-up facilities.
  • Enforce safety procedures and regulations.
  • Lead digitalization reviews and dashboard creation.
  • Progress one-off special projects.
