Job summary

Performance Energy Ltd is recruiting experienced MPD Choke Operators for offshore campaigns. You will support Managed Pressure Drilling operations, ensuring safe pressure control and efficient drilling across Asia-Pacific regions.

The role requires offshore experience with MPD choke equipment, adherence to HSE standards, and collaboration with offshore teams on major development projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as Offshore MPD choke operator.
• Strong understanding of Managed Pressure Drilling operations.
• Experience operating offshore pressure control equipment.
• Willingness to work offshore in Asia-Pacific regions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor MPD choke systems during offshore drilling operations.
• Maintain safe and efficient pressure control throughout drilling activities.
• Monitor drilling parameters and respond to changing well conditions.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and operational checks.
• Support mobilisation, commissioning and maintenance of MPD equipment.
• Work closely with offshore drilling and well operations teams.
• Ensure all work adheres to company procedures and HSE standards.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
• Demonstrate prior offshore MPD choke operator experience.
• Apply knowledge of MPD operations to maintain well control.
• Ensure safe execution in challenging offshore environments.
• Support offshore projects across Asia-Pacific with a major energy service provider.
