Job summary
INTECH Automation Intelligence in the United States seeks an experienced Instrumentation Method Engineer to provide technical, maintenance and reliability support for offshore assets. You will develop and optimize maintenance strategies and plans, and troubleshoot complex failures with RCA and reliability improvements.
Responsibilities include supporting DCS/PLC/ESD/SIS, Fire & Gas, control valves and related systems; managing MOC, brownfield modifications, reviews and commissioning; and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Automation, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of Oil & Gas/offshore experience.
- Strong experience in instrumentation maintenance, methods and reliability.
- Experience with SAP/CMMS, RCA, MOC and vendor management.
- Offshore/FPSO experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HIMA/Yokogawa, Functional Safety and SIL is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize instrumentation maintenance strategies, procedures and plans.
- Provide technical support for instrumentation and control systems.
- Troubleshoot complex failures and perform RCA/reliability improvement.
- Support DCS, PLC, ESD/SIS, Fire & Gas, control valves and related systems.
- Support MOC, brownfield modifications, engineering reviews and commissioning.
- Manage technical interfaces with vendors and contractors.
- Optimize maintenance using SAP/CMMS, equipment history and KPI analysis.
- Provide offshore technical support when required.
