Job summary

Dominion Energy in Virginia is seeking an Offshore Instrumentation Technician to inspect, test, calibrate, and repair instruments and control systems in offshore wind farms.

You will work with SCADA and PLCs, ensure NERC compliance, document maintenance in logs, and mentor junior technicians while following safety protocols.

The role requires ability to work at heights, travel to offshore sites, and maintain regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mastery of AC and DC instrumentation theory and practical applications.
• Experience with SCADA systems and integration with offshore operations.
• Knowledge of NERC standards and audits.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control loops.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, repair, calibrate, and install indicating, recording, and automatic control instruments in offshore wind farms.
• Maintain and document compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior technicians in instrumentation techniques and offshore protocols.
