Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking an HV Systems Expert – Central Control Room (CCR) to oversee switching operations and power system control across offshore wind farms. You will work with the REP/VEFK and HV Operators to ensure safe, standardized, and efficient operations while continuously improving processes and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in the electrical trade.
• Extensive experience in high‑voltage operations or power system control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operation of high-/medium-voltage control systems and wind turbine monitoring.
• Coordinate day-to-day grid operations with internal/external stakeholders and operators.
• Define and optimize switching permits, programs, and work authorization procedures with the REP/VEFK.
• Act as deputy for the Head of the Control Room and support the Lead REP/Lead VEFK to ensure standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development for HV Operators across shifts.
