Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Offshore Galley Hand in the Harahan, LA area. The role involves supporting kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks.

You will work varied shifts and must be available for interview process details. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Sanitation procedures knowledge including basic food safety.
• No related work experience required.
• Familiarity with general kitchen sanitation processes.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with appropriate chemicals.
• Restocks supplies like soap and towels.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods.
• May perform setup/breakdown tasks as needed.
