Job summary

PHI Aviation seeks a skilled Fuel Systems Technician to inspect and maintain onshore and offshore fuel systems for Houma Heliport. Responsibilities include audits, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of fuel bowsers and trucks, plus supervising reporting staff and communicating with Supervisors.

The role requires travel to PHI facilities offshore, Hazmat handling, and onboarding with PHI safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to overnight at work-site location.
• Basic use of hand and power tools.
• Valid TWIC card and required aviation fueling trainings.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain onshore and offshore fuel systems and equipment.
• Perform audits, inspections, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of fuel bowsers and fuel trucks.
• Lead and direct reporting staff; communicate expectations to Supervisors and Aircraft Fuelers.
• Travel offsite to PHI facilities and offshore locations, including Hazmat handling.
• Coordinate fuel system requirements with management; ensure safety and scheduling of fuel ops.
