Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Fueler Supervisor to lead daily aircraft fueling operations at the MSY-New Orleans Kenner location. The role supervises a team of fuelers, coordinates fueling schedules, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

You will train staff, perform safety inspections, and address issues during fueling operations while maintaining equipment and accurate records. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL and Hazmat endorsement strongly desired but not required.
  • Ability to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers or mobile devices).
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fueling trucks, fuel farm, tugs, and related equipment.
  • Supervise fueling staff and ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate fueling transaction records and conduct daily QC inspections.
  • Use hydrant carts and fuel trucks to refuel aircraft and balance loads.
  • Exhibit PrimeFlight safety standards and customer service at all times.

SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Fueler Supervisor oversees the daily operations of aircraft fueling services, ensuring that all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. The role involves managing a team of fuelers, coordinating fueling schedules, monitoring fuel inventory, and maintaining equipment. You will also be responsible for training staff, conducting safety inspections, and addressing any issues that arise during fueling operations. Strong leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential to ensure efficient and safe fueling of aircraft.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for fuel trucks, fuel farm, tugs, towing equipment, and other related fuel service equipment
  • Responsible for supervision of fueling staff
  • Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations
  • Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions
  • Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
  • Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircrafts
  • Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel
  • Conduct defueling procedures as required
  • Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance
  • Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather
  • Responsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License (CDL and Hazmat endorsement strongly desired but not required)
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
