Job summary

Oil States Energy Services is seeking a Production Services Field Service Technician for our New Iberia, LA site. This role is primarily offshore and focuses on installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of company tools and oilfield equipment.

As you progress from trainee to senior tech, you will gain hands-on experience with various product lines, communicate with management, and ensure safety and compliance on every job. Travel and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is desired.
• Willing to travel extensively and be on call 24/7.
• Must maintain a safe driving record.
• Must pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests.
• Offshore work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, operates, removes, and maintains company tools and equipment.
• Drives mobile crane truck, pickup, and trailer to deliver tools across districts.
• Communicates daily with management about job changes, equipment needs, timelines, issues, and customer concerns.
• Supervises equipment on location and assists in pre-job safety meetings.
• Maintains safety and DOT compliance on all assignments.
• Lifts and transports equipment as required; works in various weather conditions.
