Job summary

Core Group Resources is seeking Offshore Crane Operators for contract positions aboard deepwater drillships in the Gulf. This hands-on role supports drilling, maintenance, and marine operations in a demanding offshore environment.

Ideal candidates will have drillship experience, a valid crane operator certification, and a proven ability to perform critical lifts while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous drillship and crane operation experience required.
• Valid crane operator certification.
• Certifications including BOSIET / FOET / THUET, RigPass or SafeGulf, TWIC, and a US Passport or government-issued ID.
• Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging practices and safety procedures.
• Experience with blind lifts, heavy lifts and personnel transfers where permitted.
• Ability to perform routine crane inspections and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling, maintenance, and marine operations aboard a deepwater drillship.
• Perform critical lifts under pressure with strict safety standards.
• Inspect cranes and conduct basic maintenance in an offshore environment.
