Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Deepwater Mechanic to operate an offshore production facility and perform testing, calibration, maintenance and inspections as required by customers and regulatory agencies.

The role involves troubleshooting a range of equipment including turbine compressors, generators and reciprocating machinery, with emphasis on safety, compliance and teamwork in an offshore setting in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidates should have computer knowledge.
• Familiarity with subsea equipment is preferred.
• Strong organization skills to manage platform operations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication in a team environment.
• Experience creating policies and procedures for maintenance, testing and inspections of offshore lifeboats.
• Must have technical mechanical skills and ability to create policies and procedures.
• No requirement for technical writing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
• Test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.).
